Quick answer: Lean Peptide Guide is an independent information site about peptides and GLP-1 medications used for weight loss and muscle. An editorial team writes it, every guide cites primary sources, and the site earns money from affiliate links to one partner, Whoosh Wellness. We do not give medical advice.
What this site is
Search for "peptides for weight loss" and you meet a wall of clinic pages, supplement ads and vial sellers that all sound alike. This site exists to sort that wall into three plain groups: what the FDA has approved, what researchers are still studying, and what is simply marketing. Each guide says which group a product belongs to, shows where the claim comes from, and tells you what the evidence does not show.
We cover two goals together because readers ask about them together: losing fat and keeping or building muscle. They pull in different directions, and a lot of confusion comes from lumping them together as one problem.
Who writes it
The guides are published by the Lean Peptide Guide editorial team. We do not list individual authors, and no page on this site is written or signed off by a named clinician. Nothing here should be read as the view of a doctor, pharmacist or dietitian. When a page needs medical authority, it points to the source that has it: an FDA page, an approved drug label or a published trial.
How a guide gets made
- We start from the question a reader is actually typing into a search box.
- We read the primary sources: FDA pages and approved drug labels, the National Institutes of Health, and the published papers behind any trial result.
- We write the page in our own words, put each figure next to its source, and list the sources at the foot of the page with the date we read them.
- We label partner facts as the partner's own statements, because we cannot check a company's claims about itself.
- We update the page when a source changes, and the "Last updated" date on the page shows when.
What we do not do
- We do not give medical advice, diagnose anything or recommend a dose.
- We do not publish testimonials, patient stories or before-and-after pictures.
- We do not promise that any product works, or that any reader will be approved for a prescription.
- We do not sell peptides, and we do not point readers to sellers of "research use only" vials.
- We do not hide that we are paid. See the affiliate disclosure.
How the site is paid for
When you click certain links to Whoosh Wellness and later become a customer, Whoosh may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra. We name that partner on every page where its link appears, and we say plainly when it does not offer the product a page is about. The commission does not change what we write about the evidence, but you should know it exists. The affiliate disclosure explains the details.
Corrections
There is no contact form, email address or phone number on this site. If a page is wrong, the fix comes from the sources: when an FDA page, a label or a partner's published information changes, we update the guide and change its "Last updated" date. The update history on the homepage records major changes.
Medical information
Everything here is general information. A licensed clinician who knows your health history decides what is right for you, and a physician decides whether any prescription is appropriate. Read the medical disclaimer before you act on anything on this site.
